BR-900CD Rhythm editor with BR-600 problem

Hey guys,

I downloaded the BR-900CD rhythm editor to use with my BR-600. I can't seem to get it to connect to my BR-600. I keep getting the following error no matter what I do:

"Could not connect to the BR-900CD."

I read the troubleshooting section in the user manual and tried restarting the program and my BR-600 with no success.

Any advice? Thanks.

You have to have the 600 in backup mode first.
>utilty>usb>backup
then open the the program
