I'm curious what others may do with this. I could elaborate on my original vision, but I wouldn't want to influence anyone. Add whatever you want to this piece, just be honest with yourself about it.

These days I merely dabble at being old and wise.
But I swear, I used to absolutely excel at being young and stupid.

Oldrottenhead

cannea find the muse today.

Fmarkow

Very impressive, I agree it is Keaggy-esque. Once I get my br back I can take a stab at it, I can definitely hear a nice semi-clean e-git line floating in its own reverb bed, or possibly another acoustic lead line (you probably already thought of this...)

Curious - was this the internal mike? The guitar sounds absolutely rich. Please share your secret (besides an obviously great axe and technique. Thanks. FM

Farmjazz

Internal mic. Sitting on my couch about 2 1/2 feet away. '79 Takamine flattop - mahogany top/sides/back. DADGAD tuning.

More importantly - my mind back at Botcher's Gap - seeing, hearing, smelling. The genesis of my personal 'back-to-the-country' journey. I'm so thankful for the experience. Pico Blanco, Ventana Double Cone. Anyone who's been there knows what I mean.

Thank you.

Take a stab at it, Fmarkow.
