I always loved to rock out...but looking at my catalog of recordings, you wouldn't know it. Blues and soundscapes and some hillbilly americana. This is about all i could come up with from my BR1200 songs. It's a true story about the night i met my wife.
Kinda classic rock i guess.

This is so catchy. Your wife must be very proud of you.
Sounds a little like "tangled up in blue", and that's a compliment!
I like the way the guitar solos and the vox answer to each other
Well done !

Nice P-dog, real nice.  Its got a vibe for sure.  Kinda reminds me of Buffalo Springfield kinda stuff, that great NY solo there.  The whole thing is great.  It has a real groove.  Its a P-dog hit.

Yes, quite a bit different from your other postings!

I like it P-Dog, the lyrics and vocals are very well done, and it sounds like you can rip a nice guiar lead when you want to.

This whole song is very well produced.

Great stuff!

Thanks Dan. I have noticed the similarities myself and others have noted it as well. I wrote this song in about 1980 or so but just recorded it last year. I love Dylan but i think i wrote mine first...anybody know when Tangled came out? I don't have that album.

Thanks BB...i always like Stephen Stills and influences all go in...to resurface years later when you least expect it. Your support and kind words are most appreciated!

Thanks Vann...i'm a fan of yours so i really appreciate the postive feedback. Never was much of a lead player...they are all just mutant blues riffs  :D

Thanks Mark...NY analogies i'll take all day! The lead solo was heavily influenced and inspired by the guitar tone i found. Used my Schecter C1+ with Duncan 'buckers thru my Line 6 on the "Insane" setting. It's a HUGE sound and would have made someone a superstar in the early 70's.

Thanks for stoppin' in DA and 48. Pleased that you liked it. It'll be my only post for the Rockfest. I plan to listen to all the posts, and hope 64 puts tham on a jukebox so i don't miss any.

One last thing while i've got you all here. We work hard on songs. You guys listen way closer than the average Joe. I mentioned in my initial post for Cosmic Train that i did two videos in support of my new album "STRAY" www.cdbaby.com/cd/pinecats2
This is the second one. Amateur stuff, for sure...but it was fun and a learning experience.
My point is this: If you watch the video, the music (for me at least) instantly takes a back seat to the imagery. It seems visual is a far stronger influence on us than audio. Do you all agree?

PDG - Another foot-tapper there. These catchy toons must just ooze outta ya! (Notwithstanding ALL the hard work you must evidently put into your work). :)

For those of us who are old enough to remember pre-televsion days (Essentially). How many times have to you heard a song on the radio or jukebox a few times from 50/60 years ago, and you can STILL sing every note (very badly in my case). And yet you can watch an hour of MTV and instantly forget everything because it's all so bland.

Man i agree with you there Steve. Many folks say that the best music of all time is the music that was popular when you were ages 13-30. Hormone City. Think that's true? Arguments can be made for that in my case! Thanks for the listen and the compliments. Songs are hard come by for me lately. My Muse has not yet awakened for her summer nap!
