Hello friends old and new, as it's been many months since I posted anything I thought I should put this up. I started playing with this old favorite of mine months ago, but never put solos to it. I used a backer off the internet... it's drums, bass, and vox. The vox I wasn't too thrilled with initially, but after all was done I downloaded from the BR into audacity unmastered, and then simply EQ'd it in audacity, the vox came alive, it was amazing. I'm really pleased at the finished sound, and a few people have thought it was the orignal (until the solos of course). All guitars (as always) are my single Ibanez 3EX-1, plugged straight into the BR (no amp, or preamp). Even with my active EMG's the BR's effects did amazing for the clean parts. I have this in pure WAV so if anyone wanted to mess with it let me know I'll email a link to my media-fire where you can download it in pure form.

Thanks everyone.

Hey thanks guys! But I must clarify (I guess I wasn't entirely clear above), all guitars are me, but this is a backing track I found online. The backer is drums, bass, and vocals... the singing is not me, though I wish it was.

Satch, I didn't know this could be a Rockfest backer, since it is a cover. That would be cool.

Vanncad.. Thanks bud, I really am pleased with the sound. Sounds like vintage Scorpions, and how I loved this song back in the 80's.

Side.. Great to see you man, and thanks. Sorry for the mix-up on vocals.

48, LG, my friends, great to see you, glad you like it.

Jim.. Hiya buddy. Lol, our tastes are very similiar man, great stuff.

Geir... Scorpions seemed like one of those bands... very popular, but not entirely mainstream. Their older stuff in downright incredible, this being a perfect example. I do apoligize you aren't getting the effect this song is worthy of. At the intro there is an INCREDIBLE solo, and gets better deep in the song. It adds a whole new dimmension that this is lacking. Months ago when I was playing everyday (and recorded this) I began working with them, and found a serious weakness in my abilities... "bends" .. which the solos are full of. Now I'm playing again, and will be a bit to get back to where I was. From there I still have a way to go to play them, hence my posting here. If you have time go online and take a listen to original song "No One Like You", it's definitely worth a listen.

Nigel, great to see you too! Yeah I know what ya mean, see above lol.
