Hi all  !!!

Someone can tell me how to do this thing or if it's possible ?

I want to recording a standard 12 blues bar for my rithm part, and over recordin my solo or my theme...but first I don't know how log will be my solo and I approximatelly know how long will be the theme.

It's possible for this little devil machine to loop over and stop when I finish and autostretch the rithm section to fit the needed time ?

It's possible to use it like a loop machine ?

thank you

Hello:

It's not quite like a loop machine, but you can loop musical phrases quite using the Track Copy feature. It it explained on page 53 of your manual. There is a repeat option while performing the copy that will allow you to make an almost perpetual loop.

Hope that helped,

Mark

Mark's solution is the most recommended one...
As for the rhythm section, just create the count (1 bar)
And then set the second bar to the rhythm you want, but don't include a break after it!
Use mark's idea and you're good to go!

I posted this reply on another forum, figured itd be easy enough to copy and paste it

Quote from: MyselfI like to use the metronome to count time for me, and I usually start my playing on the 5th bar. I will record myself doing 12 bar blues, and I will play those 12 bars 3 times in succession. Once Ive done so, I click the "utility" button and then click "TRK"(track) and then "CPY"(copy). At this point youll see "TR-V1 -> TR1-V1", use the "cursor >" and change it to "TR1-V1 -> TR1-V2" and then at this point youll also see four options to copy: Time, Measure, All or AB...if youve followed me tothis point do it the 'MEA"(measure) route, so click "MEA". Youll get a prompt for which measure you want to copy "Start Meas..." I like to start with my second round of the 12 bars, so if we started of with the 5th measure and we did 12 bars(5+12) so start your copy at the 17th measure(017-1) and then click NEXT, youll then see "End Meas" so add another 12 bars(029-1) and then click Next.
And now youll see "To Meas", this is going to move your loop to its new starting point, go ahead and make it the same as the last(029-1) and then hit Next...and now it will ask you how many times you want to repeat your loop...thats your choice.
If you notice I said I play the same 12 bars 3 times in a row, and then I copied the second time around, this gives you movement, your loop isnt starting off with you at a stand still like the frist time around, and then your loop also doesnt end dead like the last time around...your loop has you moving naturally from the end to the beggining and it rejoins itself more natural...than say, playing just 12 bars, there would be subtle pauses and deadness with your loop.

If youre reading this only, its gonna seem complex, but if you have the MicroBR in hand, it should be EASY.
If any more help is needed, please feel free to ask, no matter how simple you think it may be...the BR is a lil tough, but it gets easier with use.

BTW to hear your loop, click one of the 4 track buttons, and then use the right cursor arrow and scroll through till you see V1 and then change that to V2...that is your loop.
