Strange recording request but maybe someone can help?

I'd love to have a more visual multi band EQ for various tracks.
It makes a huge difference towards separation of instruments.
I have a 7 band guitar EQ (Fish & Chips) that I should try for vox.
It does wonders for my cheapo Squire Bass.

Ahh I see I wasn't clear on this. What I meant was turn the dial on the right side of the mbr (input level) to zero. This only adjusts the listening volume to the input, not the recording level. This is to avoid a feedback loop. The recording level (set by pushing the input button and then +/-) must be set to a fitting level.


As I said, I've yet to try it myself, but I think it will work.
