New song... Thoughts? Suggestions?

I put this song together in all but a day. I dig the feel, but I wonder if there might be too much going on in the song. Please tell me what you think, and if you have any suggestions about mixing etc, or the playing in general I'd love to hear it!

this is great!!! i would love to hear some vocals on it though, the drums sound really simple and tinny but it fits so well with the feel of the song. i like the rustic feel definitely  not too much going on, if anything add some singing and you're on to a winner!!!

Thanks Michael. I'd love to put some vocals to it, but that's not really my forte'. I'm going to work on it though. I thought the drums were too simple as well, and that the cymbals were a little too strong in the mix. I thought about adding some bongos or some other mellow percs, but with everything else going on in the song I thought it might be overkill. This song was born yesterday, so it still has a lot of potential for molding.

put the song in the collabs section, im sure there would be alot of members who would love to have a shot at putting some vocals on it! bongos would be cool, give it a go, you can only try, i think it would sound good.

Hey, thanks folks. I'm in the process or re-recording to level things out a bit. I'll repost when it's complete, and most likely put it in collabs for some vocals. I might try it myself, but I don't have much range... Maybe if I can create a few lines that suit my voice. For the cats that suggested piano/organ/harmonica... I'd love to put some different instruments in the mix, but my skill is less than satisfactory.
