Sounds great guys. Was going to have a stab at the vox myself, but got fed up trying to convert the file to a compatible format....

ianjm

Sorry about the file.  I used a program called switch to make the mp3 smaller so that I could post it,  that must be why it has gone funny, (wont use it again).

what do you use to make mp3 s smaller????????

SteveG

I just lower the bitrate, dont make that much difference once posted online. You can do it using any DAW, Audacity is a free one.

Bluesberry

Fantastic, sing it baby, sing it.

Spot on mate,

Good to see the Thin Lizzy name being put 'out there'

Fabulous band, I was going to go see them on their last tour in the UK, but got offered the chance of a mucky weekend with a GF.... the loins won.

Sadly, no longer with her, but still have my Thin Lizzy LP collection - about 22 albums, various singles and 12" singles.

Must have been really difficult to put that all together, in some ways it is easier with a 'real' drummer in front of you and (or behind you) it is also easy to watch other guitarists, and someone leads the track. Speed fine here as is the levels for the guitar.

Excellent, loved it.

If I was going to be hyper hyper critical, the solo at the end is the best, and I felt like you were letting go there... maybe some vibrato or chorus or a little echo, would have smudged the notes. But then the backing power chords are really modern sounding and they worked well. Intination!

I have started to play around with a completely different version of this song, but if I ever find the time...
