A farmer, who's got one cow and calf, was fined for not having electric light in their barn----He hasn't even got electricity in his own house!!!!!
Maybe he should install a sauna, jacussi, widescreen tv and a hi-fi system for them too!!!!! And an intercom if they get lonely or scared of the dark!!!!

Funky post...  Enjoying the postings under this general discussion!  I would imagine that if i was a bovine psychiatrist I would have to say that if the light had to be kept all night long that we would end up with a derranged cow with borderline psicotic behavior for lack of sleep...  plain idiotic - what do they do with free range cattle and or wildlife in general ---  WTF!!!  Totaly enjoyed the videos!  Council tax was a good one too!  If we fall asleep we end up with these types of issues ---- imagine if we started telling families that everybody needs to have all their lights on at night --- must be a conspiracy by the power utility comapnies -ha!

Talking of Gestapo practises in the UK, this article applies as well:
"A painter and decorator has been fined £30 for smoking in his own van because it was deemed to be a workplace.

Gordon Williams, 58, of Llanafan, near Aberystwyth, west Wales, was on the way to buy teabags for his wife when he incurred the on-the-spot fine.

He claims the van is insured as a private vehicle and he only uses it to travel between jobs. He has lodged an appeal with Ceredigion county council.

"Of course there are tools and things in the van, but a barrister would carry about documents in a briefcase in his own car. This is no different to my mind," he said.

Williams had lit up after being stopped by police for a routine roadworthiness check. A council official approached him and handed him the fixed penalty notice.

The self-employed painter and decorator said he had gone to the garage to buy teabags for his wife and was not travelling to work.

"I take the wife shopping in the van. It is my private vehicle as well as my work van. I was just having a cigarette and causing no bother to anyone else. But this is like big brother is watching you."

A passenger in his van, who had also just lit up, received a £30 fixed penalty notice as well.

A spokesman for Ceredigion county council said that it would be inappropriate to comment on individual cases.

Ah-Ha---I'm ok on both counts then.
If I sang in public nobody would be able to tell what it was anyway ( and get as far away as possible double quick)

My work is just a shed workshop in the garden.

But do I have to turn it down in the car, and have the windows shut? ???
I always say, if I can leave somebody happy and smiling at the end of the day-----I've completely f*cked up!!
