Hi chaps and chapesses,

Havent posted for a long time, training for the Great South Run has been top of my agenda (outside of work) - madness i know. Anyhow, Im back with a new song, its called Lightning Strikes. Ive had the chorus knocking around my head for a good few weeks - finally nailed down some lyrics and recorded this weekend.

Cheers for listening,
Dan

Another top song Dan, I always look out for your posts as know that these will always be of a high quality, and this is right up there with your previous songs that we have had the pleasure of listening to on here.

You always seem to combine a great chord structure with a wonderful vocal performance and melody. Really like the harmonies in this song in particular.

Hope your run goes well, and look forward to your next song as always!

I´m listening this as I write, and it´s just wonderfull!!
Love the chords, but the voice really completes the song. It´s somewhat smooth and agressive/powerfull at the same time. It really sets the mood in the song. Great!!

that's very authentic. I love the chorus effect in the end. You should try and sell this song to Neil Young  8)

But I swear, I used to absolutely excel at being young and stupid.
