3 really great backers TR. Intense yet very clear. We would maybe need to have a name for each of them to refer to?

UPDATE: 26 Oct 10:30 PM UK - THIS NOW HAS A NEW VERSION with a much better mix, meatier, beatier, bigger and bouncier. Please use this one instead of the earlier version (this new version is HELLBND2.mp3)

It may be a bit late and I am afraid it's only bass and drums, with very rough bass indeed. I worked on the drums on several plane trips and had plans to do guitars and vox as well but have no time. I just threw some bass down in less than 1 hour this morning, bum notes and all.

Anyway, have a go at "Hellbound". The basic riff is E-G-A, and there is a variant which is E-G-E-C-B-A, while there is a chorus bit which is E and A. Basic structure is an instrumental intro of E-G-C-B up to measure 22, then verse/chorus/verse/chorus, middle 8 bit (muted E and G with a crazy alternative riff bit) and then another chorus.

There are no mastering effects so it will improve when you master it. I may be able to add vox if I have time (if anyone can add rhythm.....?).

Cheers,

Nigel

Mike thought I should post this up.  It is rather simple, but as he pointed out it doesn't all have to be heavy.  So any way here it is!  Lets just call is "Simple" I made it 4 minutes long so if anyone chooses to use it, they can chop it where they want.

He's right PJ, it's the chord sequence from the classic Them song, "Gloria" - check out various YouTube offerings. You may not ever have ever heard it but it could be deep in your subconscious as it is a huge classic from the 60s. A certain Van Morrison was the singer.....

LOL,  I know what it is.  MIke didn't think I should say in case some of you hadn't heard it. I actually have 2 versions of it. One is a kick ass one introducing the band live. Only about 10min. long. LOL

None of us should have any problem soloing over this one PJ - lol !!

Sometimes the more simplier "catchy" chord progressions make for the best backers !!
