QuoteThat's funny. I used to be a "hair farmer" back in the 80's
lmao we should start a new thread with pics of our wacky hairstyles over the years. need to look through my photo albums to see if i have any from pre hair gel days when i used to use egg white to get a spiky punk style.

QuoteGreat instrumentation, and great song. Is that a real 12-string or simulated?

It's actually a piece of crap "Applause" 6-sting. The thing has been left outside by the fire after many a drunken campfire sing-a-long. Pieces of the nut and back shell have actually been glued back on with "crazy glue".  ;D
I do find that it sounds a lot better with new Ernie Ball "Earthwood" strings on it though.

Thanks for the comps on the song.

Great bump - Don't think I ever would have found it.

Love the sound of your "junky" acoustic! The song is light, but very intense at the same time - I like it! Skillfully played and produced.

See you around,

Mark

Nobody want Bon Jovi rubbing off on them, lol *shudder*

Yes, there may be slight influence, but the comparison for me lies in the fact that this could be a huge hit being played to huge audiences. Such a great mellow feel, but with true rock credentials at the heart of it. It was a bit more Steve Earle to my ears. Either way, a great song and vocal, and you record those guitars to perfection.

Satchwood

This sounds better than a Bret Michaels or Bon Jovi hit song :~)    BUMP!
