I've had this song in my head for quite a long time.

I have seen a lot of changes in my town with all of the plant closures and people out of work.
It just seemed like the right time to record this.

The lyrics aren't final (I got some new ideas as I was mixing down), but it's close enough.

This is a little mellower than my usual stuff, so relax and have a listen.

Gingertilly - that's the second Bon Jovi comparison I've gotten from this site. That's funny. I used to be a "hair farmer" back in the 80's, and we played a couple Jovi tunes in a band I was in. Maybe it rubbed off on me. I wish I had his cash!
