Here's my belated entry to Saijinn's Song Challenge #1. https://songcrafters.org/community/index.php?topic=4181.0

Me and my old friend Michiel had a great session over the weekend. We wrote and recorded 5 songs bare-bones; guitar and vocals over a click.
The last one we did on saturday drove me to the Song Challenge; I had been toying around with the prescribed chord ingredients solo, and that came in handy as the night got later and the dutch glory we smoked took its toll on originality/inspiration.
Michiel is totally unaware of the Song Challenge, lol
All songs we did do need further arrangement and production, as I get around to it. But I thought I'd put this one up here in Collabs as-is, to see if anyone could add an additional perspective, or comments/ideas.
Without any further ado:

Thanks guys! Right now I feel it needs just an acoustic snare drum (or a band of snare drums) and strings.

You are a dream team !
I love the athmosphere here. Only thing missing in my pinion is a point of harmonica from time to time. Hope someone is going to join in the collab.

Nice one, this is really super.  Great songwriting, singing, guitar.  I love it, it has the spook.  Harmonica would sound nice, so would steel guitar.  Or how about some moody hammond type organ, thats what I hear here floating in the background.  Great job all around.  Thanks for posting.

Alternate Tunings: CAUTION: your fingers have to be in different places

You will be bombarded with additions to this.  IT was awesome.  BB has all those synth sounds along with other.  It would be so coool to have some synth or strings or something.  ABsolutely great song. Your vocals are very unique. Loved it.
