but its great to hear some acoustic by you. played and sung with passion ...but

Your 12 string sounds fantastic on this song, how have you recorded it? You have a nice effect on your voice as well. I cant say ive ever come across the original before, will seek it out. Good work, like it. You mood comes out in the song!

Hey thank you friends!!!  I should really practice singing and playing my 12-string more often...I kind of get in touch with a different side of me......

I recorded everything (guitar & vox) straight into the on-board mic.  I just pressed record and strummed and sung in stereo tracks 1&2.  And then added another track of vox & another track of some supporting guitar here and there.  I'm definitely no expert here....but it was fun!

A great and solid performance! I'm a AIC fan and this is a brilliant cover version. The 12 string guitar sounds very massive like your voice, too. Good work Tommy!

Tony, after reading your last post I see that things are feeling better w/in you...  I too have found myself sometimes in a whole - i still struggle with those blue periods, which is were I'm right now - on another wave ~~~~ nothing bad as it seems to be more from been so far away from my family.  Your song in particular the sound of the 12 string well, is a great take - and anything that has the sound of a 12 makes my day!

You may want to consider tunning the 12 to an E flat or even lower to a D - then try to shred some leads - will help with string bending - easier on the fingers.

Satch, this was really moving. You worked that 12 string with power and raw emotion. It was a bittersweet performance. You know the hole you're in has been occupied by so many before you, and when you're out of it, life will be brighter and more vibrant. Replace the bad with the good one step at a time, and the good will become habit.

I'm going to bump this song up, considering it's unplugged.
