Great cover. Great therapy to belt out one of these. Hang in there Satch.

This poem by Charles Bukowki always helps me out of my holes. I have it on my desktop and  read it almost daily. It's a softer more optimistic side which you don't often get with Bukowski. He wrote it later in life...I think it's absolutely brilliant:

The Laughing Heart, by Charles Bukowski

your life is your life
don't let it be clubbed into dank submission.
be on the watch.
there are ways out.
there is a light somewhere.
it may not be much light but
it beats the darkness.
be on the watch.
the gods will offer you chances.
know them.
take them.
you can't beat death but
you can beat death in life, sometimes.
and the more often you learn to do it,
the more light there will be.
your life is your life.
know it while you have it.
you are marvelous
the gods wait to delight
in you.

Thank you so much for listening & for those much-needed encouraging words!!!

I consider you all my friends here  -  This is such a super forum - filled with super people with super talents !!!

Believe me I am lookin for some light somewhere - but the dark aint all that bad as long as you convince yourself that it's only temporary.......even the light can be blinding at times, so I guess I need to make some lemonade out the lemons that life has given me........

Thanks again for the luv ------> all of you - have a glass of lemonade....on me !!!

Hey Satch it must be the time of the year or something.   Please climb out of your hole  (although you did a great song)  you got your emotions in it. That always inspires the best music. Hey remember you are from sunny Arizona, not snowy Iowa.  Now that puts one in a hole. Nice to hear you sing, and not shredding you must feel bad. Have faith it will pass.

My prayers are with you bro....!

Don't worry about things too much.......  Think about your game plan...... But Don't worry...

There is a balance.....

Find the resolve to hit em' where it hurts during the time you are reflecting on things...
Then focus on the good things in your life......

Just the fact that you are one of the most awesome Guitarist on this planet should be one of those happy thoughts.......

Two people on this forum talk about serendipity........

There is some good waiting on the other side of this hardship bro..... There always is!

It's just a moment in time.......  Should be no problem for the Satch!

March on, fearless Bro!

Peace

I am evil mean and nasty. I want to hear you shredd on the acoustic. LOL  I am sure you rock  guys have all kinds of things cooked up for the rock fest.  After a few weeks I am getting ideas. lets see if anything happens. lOL You are only one foot in the hole now. I hope. LOL

Very cool take on one of my favorite AIC songs!  It sounds like Cash meets AIC.

Ill bet its easier to sing and play this at the same time-I always had problems with that.
