Originally posted this one way back in June. This is one that I wasn't quite happy with, so I rebuilt it from the ground up. Everything has been re-recorded. In terms of layering and bouncing, this one is my most ambitious project to date. Lyrics are autobiographical.

I heard and enjoyed the original that you posted, and the tech work you put into this one paid off well. I like that pedal you are using - The rhythm tones sound frickin' awesome!!

Thanks, Mark. The pedal used on this one was the first DIY pedal that I built. It's really very versatile and gets a nice Marshall crunch when needed. It's based on the Marshall Guv'nor, which Marshall put out for guys to use with their solid state amps to emulate tube overdrive.

This song really lent itself to all the layering. And it was fun to put it all together. This version is pretty true to the original, only the recording/performances are much better.

Another Bob classic that I missed.  I can't believe I missed these the first time around.  It sounds like the guitars are slightly loud and overwhelm the vocal slightly.  If it were me I would bring the vocals up a tad or lower the rhythm guitars a tad.  All in all a freaking great song.  Lets have a Bob listening party!!!! This guy is cool.
