My output jack is jacked, can it be repaired?

Mine went last year and I had it repaired under guarantee. I dont know if you are in the uk but if you registered it with boss when you had it, it should have a three year warranty on it......

I appreciate the good comments and good ideas, and Launched, thanks for opening yours up and looking and the pics.  I think I will give it a shot, like someone said, what do I have to lose.  I can handle a soldering iron so why not?
thanks guys.

I think we need a sticky!

Mine is still holding up but I figured the jacks will go eventually.

If anyone figures out the part #'s on the jacks, please let me know!

Cool!   Now I know what to do.  Any tips for opening up the case?

Do just like launched said.  Take out the 6 tiny screws, remove batteries and SD card and pry apart with fingers.  Funny thing, the input jack had tape holding it, the output didn't.

Thanks for posting this, guys. I've got the occasional scratchiness in the Line In jack and have been considering surgery on the MBR.

Seeing it can be done raises me courage.

Amazing! A machine you can actually fix instead of throwing away. A bit of a flashback.
