This is rather frusterating - anyone know why when I save a song on this device, the drums are completely off-time with the music when I start it up again?

I haven't been this confused since...well, let's just leave it at that...

If it's the MicroBR you've got. You have to make an arrangement to save the beat.

Happened to me too, remember what beat you where playing at before you turn it off  eg if your where playing at 120 bpm, when you turn it back on it might be set  at 130bpm move the cursor to the right and then reduce it to 120bpm it then will be back in time.
