"Jam ---> Do You Feel Like We Do?" by Peter Frampton

I think this sounds really good.  For a live jam it seems to be mixed well.  No mud, everything is clear and has a place.  The bass sounds wonderful.  Drums full, maybe a little trebly on the cymbals.  Great sounding guitars.  And the singer is really good sounding.  This sounds like it was recorded live by a pro sound engineer at a real show, seriously.  You guys are very pro sounding, very tight (you call it loose, but is sounds pretty good to me).  Definately good enough for a local bar band, you guys play like this live at a local joint and you would bring down the house.  Your singer needs some back-up harmonizing from you guys (or maybe a Harmony-G), just a thought to take this even higher sounding.  All in all very pro sounding.

Alternate Tunings: CAUTION: your fingers have to be in different places

Very cool - collage - appreciate the live jam !!!  Great guitar licks in there - especially like the noodling during the Freeway Jam section & at the end !!!  Lots of variety on guitar fx through-out - makes for some interesting listening!!!

Cool wah too - man I get that feeling of going to a concert again Blooby...  I use to live in south Florida - so if I ever get back down there for a visit, let me know where the jam party is  8)

Works okay for me. What happens if you click on the (Download MP3) button and download the file to your hard drive. Can you play it then?

That worked - Kind of dumb not to have tried that in the first place... Still doesn't work for me on the fly, though.

I think it's another Internet Explorer incompatibility. It works just fine in Firefox under Linux. I booted up my old Windows XP computer and tried it in Internet Explorer 8 and it failed as you described. So then I tried Firefox 3.5 under Windows XP and it worked just fine.

Anyone who uses Internet Explorer as their one and only web browser really ought to install Firefox. I think it's a better web browser. But even if you disagree, it's good to have Firefox installed on your computer for testing. If something doesn't work in IE, you can try it in Firefox to see if it's a browser compatibility issue.

Thank you so much for the folks who commented about the music, and thank you, 64, for all your efforts when it comes to the ins and outs of BR.net

It's funny in that I really like the serendipitous nature of early versions of what we try...more so than the tunes we have done multiple times and "have down" for the most part.  So special thanks to those who allow me to indulge my whimsy. I know this is mostly a rough-around-the-edges jam, but parts of it still makes me smile.

Peace.

Hey Blooby. You guys rock!

Sounds like you guys are having a hell of a time there!
This sounds killer. The "rough edges" are what makes this really awesome.

P.S. - If I ever tried to rip off a solo that long, my drummer would bean me in the head with a stick.

My old band is trying to get together and I wouldn't mind recording some of it (if we ever do).

How did you record this?
Are the drums mic'd thru the P.A. ?
It ain't pretty being easy.

Okay to Cover

Thanks, V. We actually did this jam through two four-channel headphone amplifiers, which was kind of weird but great for hearing each other (We normally play through some Tapco monitor speakers.). All the signals run through one of the eight input channels on the BR-1600. The drums are courtesy of a Yamaha DTXpress electric kit run in stereo.
