OsCKilO

Romance is an Idealism made popular by works of fiction......

There is a necessity for a balance between Life and Love....

The Idealism is rarely workable and expectations are often never met.....

Some people cant let go of that Idealiism....

Infatuation is the start of something bad.....

This is called "Shadows"

Wow !!! - Flippin Wow - great job - knock my flippin socks off !!!

Superb collab - love all the parts - mellow love song (acoustic guitar & keys) and then kick arse guitars - I'm going to have to listen to this a few times to capture the fullness therein - major prog radio hit man!!!

Shadows

Hello ... I'm here

under your stairs
Hello why can't you see
that I care

I wanna be with you
... tonight
and every day

I wanna be the one
in your dreams
you may not see me
but  I  am there

Hello  ... can't you see me
can't you feel my presence
in your life

I know you need me
like I need you

Your life is empty
when I', not there

I remember our midnight kiss,
our lips colliding in the dark.
The fatal fire,
lifted my heart up high

Come close to me,
I'll keep you warm at night.
Cause I love you
I love you
I love you
I love you

I know you feel the way I do
and together
we'll be one

The night is full of rain
but I feel no pain
your gate is open wide

there's nowhere you can hide

from my love
from my eyes

Oh well ........

launched

45 minute challenge? Not this time... We all put quite a bit of work into it. A little elbow grease was required to finish this, but I can tell you everybody had fun.

Some side notes of importance:

  • This multipart frankenstein's monster came from a runaway crazy collab
  • A few lines of lyrics remain from this collab, modified by me - Thank you Fatty!! You are a star now!
  • All music was recorded and mastered with the MBR, then put in Audacity for timeshifting and overall multi-week saving work. (The MBR purity filter was bypassed - I feel so dirty!!!) I am back on the wagon now and will be attending regular meetings  ;)
  • I messed up some of Dave's contribution and other things nobody but the contributors would notice - My first real run with Audacity and I had troubles. Sorry for my inexperience with the software...

Thanks for the kind comments we have had so far.

Thanks to all the contributors - I had a blast working with everyone. Such a pleasure, I can't tell you guys enough!

Wow.  The acoustic parts are just so spot on, and that fade from electirc back into the acoustic is well done.

I also dig that subtle keyboard or mega-reverbed guitar floating over the acoustic parts.

Great.
