A good tip for using the Tuner on the MBR

Haha - not the first and won't be the last - now many times have I forgotten to press the record button. Is it me or are all the tuners on Boss recorders crap - I really can't get on with the in built tuner on the BR1600 - everything else is brilliant (well apart from the vocal tool box with is a little naff - cue Monty Python "what have the romans ...)
