Hey just a great tune so well played that harmonica sounds so real just so well done, enjoyed it very much indeed.

Great song! You voice was perfect for this! I think I;d have to say its my favorite song of yours. Great job with the GR20.

I told my wife that I'd take a break on buying guitars, but I didn't say anything about additional stuff! I may have to look into getting one of these?

Did you get it with the pickup? Do you need the pickup in order to get all the sounds out of it?

Thanks
Yes you need a pickup which is usually sold separately.
Mine is a GK3 divided P/U. The divided I take it means you can split the fretboard into low and high strings that will have different samples- like the divided keyboard idea.

Divided means that the PU is actually divided up into 6 individual mini humbuckers, one for each string, that is the signal the synth needs to see to work.  The other option is to look into a guitar with piezo built in just for synth access, Godin makes these and so do other guys, but you don't need to go this route.  Like Glenn I also have the GK3, I mounted mine on my Tele with two sided tape and it works great.

Alternate Tunings: CAUTION: your fingers have to be in different places

Thanks for clearing that up BB. It is a great feature to be able to tweak each string for sensitivity.
Installing the pickup was the hardest part.
Each bridge config is different for each guitar.
It does have a curvature adjustment which is important but getting the height just right was a bit fussy on my archtop semi acoustic.
The clever saddle bracket would have been perfect and simple didn't fit mine.
I made a wooden block and screwed the PU to it.

discovered with "on this day" feature. Very clever song, above all the recording issue, I enjoyed the listen very much. Kind of song that make you feel good, no matter the lyrics.
