Didn't wanna comment on this until I'd heard it LOUD enough.

WOW Tommy, this is good, and I don't mean (just) your speed and technical abilities on the g'tar. This is really emotional playing, the piece is dark and the playing reflects the underlying darkness ... it sounds almost like your fighting a battle against evil itself!!

Great work!!

Oh Man Satch that was great!  I feel for you!  Just got over a rough period myself.  I could sense all you emotion.  always makes for better playing.  A terrific job!!  I would expect no less of you though.  Hubby's sis lives in Flagstaff if we ever get out there we will have to look you up!!  Again superb.

Yes, a very deep composition... it seems epic and theatrical. Great job with the playing to convey those kinds of images so well.

These days I merely dabble at being old and wise.
But I swear, I used to absolutely excel at being young and stupid.

Holy cow, how did I miss this?  This is officially one of my top favorites at this forum. The guitar skills are amazing, the arrangement and background instruments are fascinating, and the expression of emotion and musicality are extremely powerful.

I'm sorry for whatever circumstances led to this outpouring, and I hope it's gotten better for you, but there is definitely beauty within the darkness of this song.

Come on, you know you want to go there...

Some of the best guitar work I've ever heard on this site, or anywhere else for that matter. It sounds like you are digging every note out of the dark slime with your bare hands. It may come from a dark place, but it really soars into the light. Incredible. This stands up against any of the so-called guitar greats.
