Thank you all ---  I was not happy with the sound...  I know the mic I am using is not a good one for recording congas/bongos - and since my move to Alaska, have not been able to tune the congas/bongos --- have a crack on my "G" conga (from the move) and on both of the bongos => about time I ordered a new set of skins....
