Really great song. All parts played and recorded very well. Cool that you guys are collaborating on the Micro BR this way!

hi lexman, i usually set the mic effects at fornylon, then hold mbr in my hand about 6ins to 1ft away depending how loud i am going to sing, i hold mbr at 45degree angle to avaoid popping and peaking. sns is usally set at full as is input dial, i have lots of mics but rely solely on the onboard mic for recording vox, hope that helps.

here are the words

you have yours worries
but you push them aside
pretend that they're not there
go through the motions
like there's nothing wrong
kinda devil may care
the waters rising
and the riptide pulls
you're rocking to and fro
there's nothing solid
that you can hold
you dont know what to do
then you find yourself
caught in the flood
then you find yourself
caught in the flood
if i knew i'd a bin there for you
if i knew i'd a bin there for you
if i knew i'd a bin there for you
if i knew i'd a bin there for you
if i knew i'd a bin there for you
i wish knew i'd be there for you

you never shared your
worries and woes
you tried to do it
all on your own
you worried
what we might have thought of you
you got it all so wrong
the waters rising
and the riptide pulls
you're rocking to and fro
there's nothing solid
that you can hold
you dont know what to do
then you find yourself
caught in the flood
then you find yourself
caught in the flood
if i knew i'd a bin there for you
if i knew i'd a bin there for you
if i knew i'd a bin there for you
if i knew i'd a bin there for you
if i knew i'd a bin there for you
i wish knew i'd  be there for you
i wish knew i'd  be there for you
you have yours worries
but you push them aside
pretend that they're not there
go through the motions
like there's nothing wrong

Thanks Tommy!!!  Man, that Jim sure has a knack for music/lyrics and can surely sing with expression!!!  Just totaly thrilled --- i had not done this song in quite sometime since when I put it together was totaly bummed of a friend that took his own life - not realy knowing what was going on in his head!?  And his family, well cannot even imagine their anguish and unexpected happening....  I did the song as it need it to come out - it totaly blew me away, and had not realy performed the song very much - Jim heard it and thought he could add some lyrics --- but now with words to it I think i can manage to express it more as an after thought.

Thanks a lot Steve!  I would definetly would love to add some bass to it and do some backup vocals --- I want to use this song (plus some others) that Jim has repainted with lyrics to see what other potentials are there with the chord progressions and instrumentation.
