good tone Alex. It sounds like a beauty.
Just out of curiosity, I have a Mexican 60's classic player. I'm assuming its a higher end Mexican --- at least the price was. What do you notice as the major differences?

Hi Tony I'm not sure yet the neck is more rolled, what is probably different is when I got it I put a set of ultra light strings on with the first string being no 8 so that feels quite different Im not sure at the moment what exactly the difference is the tone is quite a difference  having said that there is nothing wrong with my Mex thats what I used on my Albatross post, my Mexican is a 40th edition, when Ive had my new one a  few weeks I will probably know better, one thing for certain I love them both (LOL)  Alex

I could be wrong but this reminds me of a sort of 50's or 60's surf sound.  Great tone.  I like this kind of slow controlled soloing and the backing is really clear.  Nice playing.
