I Really Got To Have You Girl -guitarron and old rottenhead

I finally finished a song i wrote nearly 5 years ago when i met my girlfriend for the first time. It was a great first date, and we are very happy together still.
I have put my own lyrics to it, but could never seem to get it the way i like.
Recently i decided to turn to our resident lyricist and vocalist - the amazing-
Jim Higgins, to kick this project into high gear

I can hardly express  how grateful i am to Jimmy for his help-

Due to the size of this i posted this to new soundclick page ( i've been meaning to do this anyway)- i will work on shrinking the mp3 to fit on this site soon

the drums are a live kit recorded in sonar (about 4 years ago) ported over to the BR600
used both the MBR and the 600 for tracking the guitars and bass (the original guitar track was dumped)
acoustic was my Takamine
mixed and mastered in Sonar
last minute B3 track(today in sonar using Organized Trio plugin)

Oh yeah, this is f*ckin' awesome!! Hard work that really paid off. I love the mic'ed amp sounds. Everything was clean and beautiful.

Those blues licks were just Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet!!

You can post it in a new topic. Then I can merge the new topic with this one so that it will appear here.

Alternatively, you can upload your original (bigger than 5MB) MP3 file somewhere else on the web and link to it here with the new [singlemp3][/singlemp3] tags. Unfortunately, SoundClick isn't suitable for this purpose as they hide the URL of the MP3s you upload there. But, if you can find someplace else to upload it, you can link our MP3 player gadget to it using the [singlemp3][/singlemp3] tags. That way, you can use the original MP3 instead of the squashed down one.
