My thoughts exactly. 

It doesn't need vocals, in my opinion.  But if you already have a vocal part in mind, I'd be interested to hear it.

I love these flamenco / arabic scales, and you've given them a deep groove workout. Yep - I can hear Stone Roses too. And some distant, trippy vocals floating over the top. Nice guitar changes, man. This is really excellent. Right up my street.
