Pushing 30 years ago a friend got a little too deep to me in the loan department and the best he could do was cough up an Arp Avitar ($2000 in 1980 dollars) and a Guild S300 to clear the deck.  

I screwed around with the POS quite a bit, but your cut was what I had in mind, I guess I was just 30 years too early with the gear and a whole lot late in the talent department.  Put the Avitar in the dumpster and still have the Guild with the Arp pick up on it.
