Well Done

Very good. Very.
Topically, it reminds me a bit of Radiohead "you do it to yourself", gave me the same kind of feeling... very close indeed.

Very cool.  Nice dynamic shifts.  Question: has your friend heard the song?

QuoteI'd love to hear that last chorus explode with drums, and repeat at least one more time.

I second that emotion.

This is a great tune Davo. You have a great voice. It reminds me of 54-40 (a damn find band BTW).
Can't wait to hear the finished version!

P.S. - I wrote a tune called "The Kettle and the Pot" which was my way of talking about the same issue. It's on my songlist (see link below) if you want to check it out.

I love that song!  I wasnt thinking of that when I wrote this-I think I was in a Sonic Youth phase, but you know how influences come out in odd way.

He came to a party I played last summer-about a year ago where I played this on acoustic.  I didnt tell him it was about him but he knew right away.  He seemed quite embarrased-but this was nothing I hadnt pointed out to him before.
