What is the ModJC (Number 17 on he GTR bank) Guitar effect Supposed to Do?

It seems to be Good for everything........ And great when you use a Pedal with it...


In Fact, I Dont know what Half these tones are supposed to be for.....

Is there a site with a reference Guide to what Tone does what?

I'm not sure what supposed to do a lot of patches, others like this one is obvious if you know something about old amps, but don't let this disappoint you.
Just take a patch you like and tweek it to your taste.
People tend to think, as an example, Marshalls distort a lot, ok that is true but if you crank it, if you use a Plexy like Hendrix, Malmsteen, Blackmore, A.Young you could have a heavy distortion but i can say that Plexys have the cleanest tone in the world, of course you may not turn the volume more than 30%.
So, don't matter what "is", what matter is "you like it?"
Music, music and three times music!!!
