Want drums, but get some song instead.

Hello,

Just got a Micro BR today and, so far, I like it. I haven't attempted to record anything yet, though. I have only used it as sort of a miniature amp/effects rig to play through computer speakers.

I have been trying to use the Rhythm feature to simply play a basic repeating drum pattern that I can jam along to but have had no luck. Each time that I think that I have selected a drum pattern, I push the play button and I hear some song playing.

Any ideas? I have read the manual and other threads and have heard no mention of this.

Welcome. The demo song from the card is loading. To create a new song press the Utility button and then choose Song/New/Execute. I think that's the sequence. All should work fine then.

One reason this group is so helpful is that the manual has some misprints in it and some things seem not to be included.

Searching the archives here and viewing the tutorials is really helpful.

I just got this thing yesterday and the same thing happened to me.
Couldn't find anything in the manual. Thank god for this website its
more useful the the book.
