You know, we are all technical by nature here - Some may deny it, but a musical instrument is a technical tool no matter what it is.

One track is all it takes sometimes. Look at Frank Black. He used to record live direct to a 4 track. Now he is going to a two track I thinks. And his stuff is awesome!!
