This is lovely. The opening chords bring you right into the heart of the song where the distorted guitar is waiting to pounce, lol. There's a very good, edgy feel to this song. Like it a lot.

You haven't lost huge amounts of quality. I agree with the 192kbps tip. We started doing that with Jemima's Kite because there were lots of additions flying around. Now I don't use anything but that (except when I need to squidge something to get it on here). See what you think. It might not sound too different on first listen, but the quality should hold up better.

Nice work!

Thanks for the recording tips chaps i can't wait to get my latest song recorded. The change at the end of Nadine was a last minute thing. Actually a bit of a mistake which i just kept playing coz i couldn't be bothered to do another take of the main track :-)

Cheers again folks the comments as always are much appreciated.

I dig it, great song.

Did you add some chorus on the acoustic?

Hints of Material Issue and Oasis.

Davo you know what i can't remember which effects patch i used!! i don't tend to use a lot of chorus on my acoustic. When i used to play live a liked to put it through my digital delay just to thicken out the sound a bit. Material Issue? i must check these out

Just found this as it's near the top.  Glad I didn't miss it in the end.  Love the accoustic and Electric mix.  Played from the heart with feeling.  Vox is great too.  5 stars

I'm glad I got to hear this one. I absolutely love the guitars (electric especially) in this. A perfect counterpoint to the rhythm and vocals. I have just used a similar bend/run in two songs lately but this is more appropriate and has a bigger emotional impact. Very well done.
