From what they say on page 22 of the TC-HELICON harmonyG manual, it sounds like you can send the dry lead vocals to the right channel and the harmonies to the left. You can also send the guitar separately through the Guitar Thru output. With a BR-1600 or other recorder capable of simultaneously recording more than two tracks, you could simultaneously record lead vocals, harmonies, and guitar to three separate tracks.

And here's the DigiTech Vocalist Live 2 manual for comparison.

Looks like there is a left and right output for Vox.
They say if you use this, it will be panned "slightly left and right"
I take this to mean the lead will be more on one and both harmonies (If you use two) will be more on the other but there is some crossover.

You can set it up so that both voice and guitar go out together in stereo, or voice on one side guitar on the other for more control over mixing, etc, or turn guitar down and get just voice out in stereo, or just voice out one channel in mono.

Alternate Tunings: CAUTION: your fingers have to be in different places

Thanks BB. I'm looking forward to getting one. My timing on Vox is often very weird so that even I have trouble harmonizing with my leads and this should do the trick.

A guitar and a mic in and a guitar and mic out?
Hmm looking forward to the results, I've just asked for one for Christmas.
Just returned it to Reidys to have it checked out on my 2nd gig it gave out such a screech after about an hours playing, I disconnected it, the next day it didnt work properly it had about a second delay between singing and the sound coming through, the following day it was fine again, checked all my leads seemed ok I will let you know when they contact me Alex
