I have just bought a digitech voice 2 harmonizer it is excellent, does anyone know if I can put it straight into my BR without damaging it?  Alex

I think you can plug into the BR qithout any problem! I wrote to an Ebay seller asking informations about that, and he told me it was ok for my "MBR based" home studio.

 :)

Tell me: do you use it in multitrakc recording? Does it sound good?

Thanks

d.

I just got an email from Boss I can use it straight into my micro. the thing is through you have to plug a guitar and a mic in because the guitar is the chords that do the harmonising, you plug the guitar into the harmonizer then from the harmonizer into the amp, and the same with the mic, but as I can only do one at a time on my br I will have to try it with the mic into the harmonizer then into my BR but the guitar will only be able to go into the harmonizer, in order to get the harmony I will try tonight and see what happens  Alex :-\ :-\ :-\

Are you saying you need 4 cords to run it?
A guitar and a mic in and a guitar and mic out?
Hmm looking forward to the results, I've just asked for one for Christmas.

I have the Harmony-G vocal harmonizer.  I have gone from output straight to line in on the MicroBR with incredible results.  For recording I usually record the guitar first onto one track and then turn down the guitar through volume on my Harmony-G and record just the vocals.  It has worked out pretty good, here is a song I did this way.

So BB, to be clear, you just went from mic out to the MBR, tho you would need to have the guitar and mic inputs and play and sing for the unit to recognize the changes?
This way it only records the vox and you would have separate tracks for guitar and vox already in the MBR or done later?

I plugged my Mic in and my guitar in.  Line out to the microBR.  Strum and sing at the same time for the harmonies to track the chord changes.  If I leave the guitar mix up it will have guitar and voice go to the microBR, I choose to turn down the guitar volume in the Harmony-G so only voice goes through to the microBR.  This way I have a track with just voice that i can manupulate, pan, set levels, etc.  The guitar was already recorded once before in a separate track.  I just strum when singing so the Harmony-G works but I only record voice at this time.

So far so good.
When you sing it outputs the lead and harmony voices. Does it mix those 2 together into one mono or are they available as separate tracks?
