Dear Tafka, That is really beautiful.  You warmed up the 808's- tube cab?
Thanks, Thom

Dear Thom,
still ain't got a clue what an "808" thing is.
the drums are from my Korg the other bit is guitar.

I think they're referring to the Roland TR-808 Rhythm Composer, an early electronic drum machine which had a unique sound. Many modern drum machines include a TR-808 drum kit patch, as does the Micro BR. I think they assumed that you used the Micro BR's "808" drum kit for the drums. The drum kit from your Korg sounds like a TR-808.

Very nice job on this Tony. The sweeping synths and melodic guitar line go together really well. A very majestic sound here, nice bass going on as well.

Cheers,

Nigel

Well done, T. What quite an adventure listening to this one. The mix sits really nicely. The guitar fitting in with the cool synths really is an aural treat.

That's swell!  Seriously.

I've been wanting to experiment with techniques to get those kind of sounds.

Did you use a volume pedal, the guitar's volume knob, or some other device or trick?
