Hi
Redler made this first as a Finnish song "Keskikesan Noita (Midsummer Witch) ". What a great way to start eh ? !!!

Then he posted it in collabs where Mark and myself picked up on it !!

Redler: guitars, bass and the original composer
Launched: beatiful harmony, additional bass and mixmastering
Geir : Ugly lead guitar and vox and words

Here's the lyrics:

*******************************************************************
In the midsummer night
They run and hide
they fear for their lives
and they fear for their soul
they don't even dare to go downtown

there she stands
on the corner of a street
dressed in black
her hair dark as coal
under the midnight sun
they feel her cold

in a circle
six men dressed in black
can't see their eyes
in silence they cry

cry out load
 -------
she feed of their fear
she knows exactly what to do

the town is infected
no one is spared
the darkness expanding
the source known by all

*******************************************************************

Very cool song guys! You paint a good picture with the lyrics Geir.
I really like the background vox and bass line at the start.
It ain't pretty being easy.

This is downright spooky.  I can't wait to hear this cranked in the car.  So different, so fresh, so incredibly cool, great colab guys, really great.  Love that "ugly" lead guitar, it seems perfect for this song, instantly downloadable, instantly road-worthy.  Great stuff guys.

Thanks once again Geir and Mark! The Finnish lyrics are 'light' and 'nice', but I think both works well on the melody. Both words are mystical, I think...

As I mentioned earlier, I like to hear different arrangements of my and other one's songs. A few times ago, I even couldn't dream of this kind opportunity; the 'band' lives in different continents.

For next, I'll jump at BR-1200 and try new tips and gear for recording acoustic guitar.

Thanx for the feedback !!!

This was a fun collab, and having a title, it gave me some constraints on the lyrics that gave me a chance to explore some darker side of the society in a mystical frame!

Thanx for the opportunity Kari and Mark !!

Great collab, you really took this in a different direction. Very moody now, with some dark intent there. The inlfulence of the Huldra is strong in you, young Geir.....

Cheers,
