Quote from: Ted on September 03, 2009, 11:22:25 AMI'm glad you liked it.  While patiently waiting for the Kaossilations, I got used to hearing that end part like a breakdown, without the fuzz bass, and with just Entwistle's bass over on the left along with the crowd noise.  So I moved your big end solo to the middle (and extending it a couple of beats to fit, if you noticed), and recopied a shortened version to the very end for a big finish--with two basses (Entwistle's and mine) and two Kaossilators (both yours).

I didn't notice the "extension" as I was just blown away by the fact I had been cut up and reassembled by Ted! It all sounds great.

Quote from: Ted on September 03, 2009, 11:22:25 AMI guess I don't understand who or what Horny Harold is.  I thought it was a stage name, a nickname, a band, an alter ego, a friend of yours, or your Kaossilator's pet name.  Out of curiosity, I Googled "Horny Harold." Then I clicked "Images" thinking I might see your old avatar as a band logo or something.

Well, Horny Harold came from this posting: https://songcrafters.org/community/post-your-mp3-collaborations-only/harold-the-horny-kaossilator-'heart-in-a-cage'-trans-atlantic-blues-festival/0/

I originally called him Harold the Horny Kaossilator in honour of an old hunting song sung by the Prince Regent ("Harold the Horny Hunter"), but he became Horny Harold here, courtesy of Mike: https://songcrafters.org/community/post-your-mp3-collaborations-only/t2409/45/. Someone even made me a cute avatar, which was the one I used prior to going all Mad Hatter.

Horny by name, but at my age, rarely by nature  :-\

Cheers,

Nigel

Masterbump.

No apologies or excuses.

I've been away from this for awhile, and am listening with new ears--more removed from the creative process, and the tedium of the production.

I can dig it again.

Nigel, this was blast.  Let's do it again.  Been thinking (only thinking, mind you) about a followup, and how much easier it will be to bring Garage Band to the process.

Good bump, Ted.  I missed this the first time around.  Very good stuff, I really liked it.  It seems like digital is made for this kind of material.  And, at the risk of bowing to the the tradition, I can dig it.

Personally, I think it was a pile of sh....... Oops, no, I can dig it. Ted, this was great fun, happy to collab on anything that takes your fancy and GarageBand will make things a little easier for cutting up.....

This was one of those off the wall ones that was really up the with the likes of Sandy Gritt and Henwrench.

Cheers,

Nigel
