If anyone was to ask me as to a year I felt everything was carefree, I would say this year....







I was 4yrs old and things were simple......

No work......

No enemies......

No Worries........ ......




That doesn't mean I wish I was back in that time.........



I just hold fond memories of the state of being which the year entailed for me......


Shopping every Saturday at Walthamstow market with my folks.........








Every bus ride being an adventure.....






Simple things holding wonder...




Time with friends that didn't have to amount to something meaningful.....We would Just "Be"......




People seemed a lot happier.......





Or was I just enthralled in the Blissful ignorance related to childhood......


I came up with this tune today thinking about that year......

Now that is sweeet stuff.  This is mixed very nicely, bouncy, happy sounding for sure.  I like those carefree bends there, it is like folk-funk.  That is a nice layering of guitars there, everything in its right place contributing to the mood.  I see big fluffy clouds overhead, smell fresh baked bread and icecream, pretty girls everywhere, it smells like a day that will go on forever...

1985 ... I had just gone back to college, which meant moving in with my Gran, which meant leaving my band Was not a good year for me....

Liked the tune tho, nice how all the guitar parts wound around each other. Would not be surprised to log on tomorrow and find some vox on this

I'm trying to think of 1985... I was 16. Had the best times of my life at that age. 'nuff said...

1985, I was living just round the corner from you in Stratford E13.

It was the decade that style forgot. I dyed my hair yellow and it all fell out. That was the last I ever saw of it.



And the dogs! I lost my shirt there a few years back. I've never seen as many cockernee 'Johns' and their wives dripping with gold jewellery (rattle, rattle) as I saw there.

Happy times, when I was young and I could party all night and still get up to attend the place I called 'Work'.

No wonder you went back to 85, sweet stuff.

Cool tune!!!  1985 I was 15 years old, Just started Learning the guitar two years prior, I had a mullet hair dew, LOL . Life was simple and fun.
