I find this sort of thing so difficult! This is the latest exercise my teacher has set me -to record this chord progression and play arpeggios over the top of it plus using the jazz melodic min over the dominant. This is the best I can do, after loads of practice. It's still limited and repetitive, so I threw in my little drum plus bass guitar hoping that extra ingredients may make it taste a bit better. Calling all jazz guitarists.....how can I improve on this?
If the human brain was simple enough for us to understand, we'd be so simple, we couldn't...

i envy your range of talent, jackofall.

after reading Graham Collier's (UK Jazz great) book "Jazz", i learned that Jazz should be improvised in the moment. with that, your's is the essense of what Jazz is and needs no improvement.

I'd love to hear this one a a dark-sounding hollow-body.  A bit harsh on the treble side for jazz, but I'm loving this.

Very nice playing.

More.

Nice playing, it sounds kinda loose.  Really nice.

Alternate Tunings: CAUTION: your fingers have to be in different places

I don't have a clue what you are talking about.  But I like the sound of it. I think you did quite well. No improvement needed.
