I didn,t bounce anything but it did appear to transfer to the pc when I tried to open it  a sign comes up saying it can,t find a driver, I am now totally confused. Th e cf card is now clear as I can not hear anything via the h/phone on the 600.

OK.  Here's how it's done.

1. Make a note of the track(s) that you want to export.  If they need to be combined before exporting them the read about bouncing and mastering tracks.  I will assume that you have a finished sone on tracks 7&8.

2. Make sure the PAD light is not lit and press the UILTITY button.
3. Using the right cursor, scroll along until you select USB and press ENTER.
4. Using the time value dial, scroll to EXPORT and press ENTER
5. Using the right cursor, select WAV as the export type and press ENTER.
6. Using the right cursor, select "From 7&8V1" and press ENTER
7. When the conversion is complete, the "BOSS_BR-600" icon is added to your
computer.
8.  OPen this removable drive in "My Computer" and open the USB folder
9. Drag the .WAV file to your computer.  You can now play this in mediaplayer or convert it to anything you like.

My pc will not open the folder containing what I transferred it has 232mb shown in folder ,I get message saying it can not find the "drive".....I,m more confused .

What version of Windows or MAC are you running?

The manual says it is compatibile with
Windows ME, 2000 and XP
Mac OS 9.1x, 9.2x and MAC OS X

Once the screen says "USB EXPORT  Keep Power on!" you should be able locate and open a drive called "BOSS BR-600".

If you cannot see this drive then I suspect you have a problem with your PC.  Try opening all drives that are labelled "Removable" and see if you can see a folder called "Roland Folder".
