The recording of the acoustic is just great and i absolutely love the sound of the harmonica, really top playing on both fronts. Sometimes the songs which take least time to write are the best. Thanks for sharing.

Simple but very effective. That chord sequence does give it a bit of a Neil Young-y feel to it and it hangs together very well. The harp is such a nice touch to this as well. For a quick effort, it's very strong indeed.

Nicely done.

This line caught my attention: "I need you now so I called your mom." I wondered, Where the hell is he going from there?  But you kept it clean.  In fact, you probably stepped right over that potential for a filthy revenge song without even seeing it.  Such a nice man, you are.

Come to think of it, that rhymes with "Ground control to Major Tom" and the chords are even the same!

But I digress.

I really liked the harmonica too.  Such versatility.

Great comments thanks everybody.  Thats too funny Ted, I never even considered the filthy possibilities inherent in that line about the "mom", hmmm interesting  :o.  And the Major Tom thing, that is the first thing I noticed when I started playing around with these chords (the C-Em combo), I couldn't get that out of my head, so I just let it become part of the sound of the song, why fight it.  The other thing I noticed was the Am-F combo which suggests Neil Young big time (Cowgirl in the Sand), so I ended up with a Neil Young sounding song that has a Major Tom sounding reference in the verses.  So much for highly original songwriting  :D.  Everything has already been written before, except for the stuff Osckilo comes up with  ;)

Alternate Tunings: CAUTION: your fingers have to be in different places
