Update:

TCV started their world tour on October 1st. I'm going to see them at the House of Blues in Boston. There are only three US shows left for their Deserve The Future Tour. Next stop is the UK.

Ladies and Gentlemen - A new supergroup has been formed recently if you haven't found out yet!

Them Crooked Vultures

Josh Homme - Lead Guitar & Vox (Kyuss, Queens of the Stone Age, Fif' Fifteeners, EODM)
Dave Grohl - Drums & Backing Vox (Nirvana, QOTSA, Foo Fighters, Probot, etc.)
The Legendary John Paul Jones - Bass, Keyboards & Backing Vox (Led Zep)
Alain Johannes - Rhythm Guitar & Backing Vox (Plays some live shows - He's a wizard)

They played a surprise post show at lollapalooza on August 9th - I don't have any verified media available yet. Talk about me not being in the know! Grohl is reported to now have permawood from the experience. I don't know how they dragged Jones back on stage, but it's awesome!!!!

Anyway, I'm kind of stoked about this!! Four of the most fantastic live performers. And Josh Homme is one of my favorite guitarists - He's got the sound and the voice.

They will be awesome live - would bet leftie on it.

And John Paul Jones, too!! They are all fantastic musicians that take pride in hosting perfect live performances. Alain Johannes is a wizard in his own right - He's played with everyone. Josh Homme is a great guitarist as well - The Kyuss albums and the first Queens album are some of my favorites.

This will be the first band that I will fly to see live if they ever play again.

I saw JPJ in Hammersmith about 12 yrs back, awesome!!

The You Tube music link I included has 10 live performances - Sound quality is rough but I love it. Scumbag Blues is my favorite so far - Thumping bass & drums and Josh plays a killer solo.

I'm pumped!

I would love to see him live - still has tons of energy as evident in the live vids.

How.  The Hell.  Did I miss this?

Im a huge fan of Queens, Foos, and the Eagles of Death metal.

You have made me a happy man.
