What do you do when you have a section in the middle of the song with many empty bars (I mean in one track only)?

Can you stop the recording when you reach the first empty bar and then skip the rest section and continue recording?

Yes, you can stop recording, then continue after the middle section. You'll use up less memory card space that way, so it's actually better than letting the BR record silence through the middle section. The BR's clock makes sure that the second part starts playing at the right location in the song.

You can also set A-B's and delete the section. This avoids any clicking caused by hitting buttons during operation.
