Amazing. Really great. Everything went so perfectly together.
The word you are looking for is "word".

Brilliant. Nice backer and the usual inspired ORH lyric and vox.

F'in Fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love the lyrics, they fit perfectly. The vox has a kind of Velvet Underground/Lou Reed feel to them. I really like it!

I'd probably cut out a portion of the lead guitar.....on second thought, the more i listen to it (third time now) the more I think it works as is.

Oh, and thanks everyone for all your kind words.

Great song !!! You've done magic again James !!!! It was a great instrumental that Leif? (or Erik? ) made to begin with and now it has a new dimention.

Jim-

I feel the need to tell you, once again, how much i love what you do! You did such a good job with this one! You took the words right our of my mouth, so-to-speak. Every once in a while I'll pick up a good book, and say to myself, that guy (the Author) speaks my language (figuratively speaking) he took my, seemingly, indescribable feelings and put words to them. I came up with the first line "there was a time" not knowing where to go with it --I just knew it fit-- and you took it and ran, you knew exaclty where I wanted to go with it, you gave it life and I applaud you for that!

And yes, I am drunk, but that doesn't take away from anything I just said, sometimes a little alcohol loosens the lips.

i'm jealous just in from work its 11.40am so i have to stick to my double espresso. thanks leif but i cant do the words without the music to inspire me. i think anything i write a lyric to the music tells me a story (jings this is me sober)or stikes a chord/emotion i dunno but the words then write themselves

Erik, you already know I LOVE this song.  It's simply beautiful.  And now what a new dimension it goes into with Jim's awesome (AS ALWAYS) vox.  I have to admit, Jim, that on first listen, I wasn't sure if your voice worked with the song, but now I think it totally works, and works quite well.  What a laid-back, smooth, satisfying song.  Happy and sad at the same time.  Really hard to pull that off.

I could listen to this over and over for days on end.

Incredible work, gentlemen! ;D ;D ;D
