using 4 tracks

Although I have had my br since last December I am only just getting the time to use it, I did a recording of albatross using my yamaha s500 keyboard for the backing and seashore sound on track 1+2 ,and played the guitar on tracks 3+4 its quite a machine although I made a couple of cockups its bearable. I am now trying to use tracks1+2 for recording the beatles Help and tracks 3+4 for the vocal How can I also add my harmonies, do I have to record track 3, then track 4 for the harmony . regards  Alex

Yes, you will have to record the tracks individually. Make sure only one REC shows up when recording to each track. So instead of pressing TR3 and TR4 at the same time, just use one track for the vocals and one for the harmonies.

Thanks Mark I'll try that tonight, do you know if it is possible to make the song to an mp3 then put it back into the br from my computer using track 1 ,then adding more  material on tracks 2/3/ and 4  Alex

That is possible, but you are better off to use the bounce feature. It's tricky at first - well worth taking the time to learn!! Basically you "record" TR1-4 to stereo or mono vtrack(s). Then you select to play back the the vtracks you bounced to. Then you can record more music with the bounced tracks.

I'll try to locate the best tutorial/manual info in a moment.
