I didn't realise when I posted this challenge as a tribute, how heavily It would weigh on my mind...
I have mastered 3 different takes with all the clever runs, sustain and distortion they just didn't feel right....... ???
After reading lots of stuff dedicated to the great man, I was struggling even more.. :-[
Then this morning I thought I'd try and play just simple sweet sad notes with as much emotion as I felt.... :(
So here's my humble tribute to the Great Les Paul......

Bloody lovely Mike, perfect.
After all the soul-searching you told me about, sounds like you're pouring it out here. 8)
I always say, if I can leave somebody happy and smiling at the end of the day-----I've completely f*cked up!!

Got a lot of posts to catch up on and this is one of the first.  You definitely have some mojo going on.  Must be your cap!! Were you wearing it?  Your expression on this song is most amazing. I think one of your best. If soul searching does this for you, you might have to do it more often.  Only as long as the outcome is good.!
