By request another song i made.

For the song "The River" i used a different recording technique then "Light out here". This is recorded with overlapping semi acoustic guitars. Everything is played in a mic and not through an amp.

Ones again check the website for more at www.pauleekhof.com

Enjoy!

Oh well ........

Sounds like a good campfire tune or you good heavy it up and it wouldn't be out of place with a lot of the tunes they are playing on the radio (around here anyways).

Solid, catchy tune man. Good playing, vox and harmonies.
It ain't pretty being easy.

Okay to Cover

Thanks guys!

I love the fact you classify my music as feel good music. Its indeed the intention of most of my songs!

@vanncad
I initially wanted to record this song like a more rock type with shredding guitars and heavy drums and bass. But as i listened to the both versions i thought it was well worth to make it a more joey cape and tony sly kind of thing.

But of course i can always record this song in full rock mode. Which maybe i will in the future. And of course when its done ill post it on the forum for all your comments!

Greetings!

Uploading of songs is no longer allowed here. Instead, you can link the MP3 player to your song stored on your own website. On the bright side, that means you don't have to worry about file size. So go ahead and link to your 35MB file if you want to.

Really cool stuff, I really like those harmonies.  It reminds me of mid/late 60s brit pop kind of stuff (Kinks, who, etc)  real nice stuff.

Alternate Tunings: CAUTION: your fingers have to be in different places
